Happy birthday Kaden!!

Kaden is 10 years old!! He has made it into the double digits!

He got second place in his pinewood derby today too! What a great birthday!

Pinewood derby prep!

Kaden has his big pinewood derby this wednesday!

The family made a group effort to make him an awesome car! I hope he wins!! I know it's not suppose to be about winning, but us bowers are so use to it when it comes to pinewood derby. We must keep tradition.

I don't know how the competition is in Utah... We will see!

I can't believe you guys are 19 years old! That is so crazy! Feels like just yesterday I jumping backwards off your crib while holding you in my arms. : )

Rachel is a Beast!

Rachel has been on the CSUN rugby team this season and their team is killing it!

side note: Rachel is freaking adorable 

The team made it to nationals!!! THAT'S HUGE!! 

When They got to playoffs their first game didn't go so well. But in the words of Rachel Jones, "Because when we do something, WE DO IT ALL THE WAY YYEEEEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!"

But they didn't leave playoffs without a fight! Their next game against Humboldt they won 33 to 27!!!! BAM! GO CSUN WOMENS RUGBY!!

Champs of Ragnar Relay So Cal!

This past weekend our very own, Tamra Savage ran in the Ragnar Relay and just killed it!! Most who run Ragnar, run with 12 people, but Tamra being the amazing athlete she is ran it with only SIX girls! 

Ragnar SoCal is an overnight running relay race that goes from long beach to San Diego. Over two days and one night, her team ran 207 miles! 

That alone is amazing, right?! I was already impressed that she and her team participated in such a feat. But they didn't just participate they DOMINATED! 

They finished the race in 29.5 hours!! To clarify how amazing that is...

That put them in 2nd place in the ULTA(6 girls) women's division and fastest over all the non-ulta women's teams (12 girls).

WOAH!

...I am not done

They were also FASTER than the 2nd place mens Ultra team!!! 

AAAND they ran an extra 4 miles, which means they pretty much took first place over-all!!

Brandon opened his mission call!

The family all got together to hear Brandons exciting fate! Brandon stood uncomfortably in front of all of us while the anticipation of his call was increasing! 

He was called to....

Des Moines, Iowa!!

His "future wife", Sabrina is the lucky winner who guessed that is where he was going. He is furthering the Bowers tradition of going English speaking and not crossing east of the Mississippi river! haha Thaaannnks mom. ; ) She has powerful prayers.
